Welcome
to our September newsletter
No,
you haven't missed an issue. We didn't sent out an eNews
during August partly because so many of you took annual
leave and we didn't want an abundance of 'Out of Office
Auto Replies' hitting
our server, but mainly because not much happens on the
corporate front during August, so why not wait till September
and lavish you with three fabulous profiles...
Concorde,
the worlds only supersonic passenger jet, disappears
– with great sadness – from service with
its final flight
on October 24th 2003, so who better to profile
this month other than Capt. Brian Walpole OBE,
the first commercial pilot of Concorde, who served
as head of the British Airways fleet for 12 years.
Capt. Walpole is a truly remarkable man and a much
sought-after
speaker - check out his profile below.
Also profiled this month is top comic impersonator, Rory Bremner and leading party band Now
Live!
Until
next month,

Neil Martin

End
of a Supersonic Era.
Captain Brian Walpole has led the Concorde fleet of
British Airways since the beginning of the supersonic
era, and he is the mastermind of its commercial success.
A much sought-after speaker, the career of Captain
Walpole is second to none in the history of post-war
aviation.
Not only
has he
flown the World's only supersonic jet airliner for
twelve years, he commanded the fleet and also ran its
commercial operations as General Manager Concorde.
In this role, he was responsible for all aspects of
British Airways Concorde operations.
